Effects of <i>Phytophthora sojae</i> inoculation under flooded conditions on growth of soybean seedlings

Phytophthora root and stem rot due to sojae is a major constraint of soybean production. This study evaluated the combined effect P. inoculation flooding on growth seedlings. The cultivar ‘Enrei’ was grown in greenhouse pots containing vermiculite containers field soil. plants were inoculated with two isolates subjected flooding. ratio dead live ranged from 0 0.32 across all treatments. Pathogen caused significantly shorter maximum length (MRL) three experiments. MRL shoot dry weight affected by interaction between one experiment media. Flooding parameters only soil results indicated that seedlings survived infection grew less well than non-inoculated plants.
